Organized Youth Athletic Practices at the Beach
The Association reminds its members that the Merrymount Beach is private property and is not available for use as a practice field for organized youth sports. The grassy area of the beach is not designed as a practice field, and there may be glass, holes, roots, etc. that could cause injury. Due to liability issues, the Association cannot undertake this risk and allow organized practices at the beach. Please contact the City of Quincy to determine an appropriate city facility for practices. Thank you!

Merrymount Association Beach Dog Policy
With the new season approaching, please remember the following rules and guidelines when you bring your favorite four legged friend to the beach:
We know it's hard to believe, but not everyone loves your dog as much as you do!
- Dogs are not allowed during any scheduled functions/events at the beach. This is for everyone's safety (and the dog's safety).
- Dogs must remain on leash at all times - no exceptions!
- No dogs in the canteen area or the children's play area.
- Owners must pick up after their dogs. If you forgot a bag, the canteen might have a back up solution.
- Please be considerate of others when with your dog at the beach or the park at all times.
